with a protruding tummy,
taking public transport is no longer a hassle.
=)
alhamdulillah,
kind people have been offering their seats for me.
getting a seat in the mrt is much more easier than the bus,
maybe because of the reserved seats.
however,
i do feel guilty at times when some of them offer me their seats.
there were several instances,
elderly women gave up their seats to me.
i felt helpless and of course refused,
but they insisted.
once in the bus,
a man who sat near the window stand up and offer me his seat,
what truly touched me was that he is disabled.
there were 2 capable men who saw me but pretended not to see/ignored me.
today,
on the way to work,
i had to stand.
a few bus stops throughout the journey,
a man who stood beside me tapped on another man who was seated down engrossed with his ipad and said "please give your seat to her" while pointing to me.
that man who had to give up his seat looked at me and stand up.
to those who had given up their seats to me,
thank you for keeping me and my baby safe.
god bless you!
a seat really helps me to rest my tired legs from carrying the weight and catch up with my sleep.
sometimes when i stand,
i get a little clumsy and i might lose my balance.
of course my journey in the public transport hasn't been that nice,
few months back,
some thought i have a belly so no seats were given.
so ladies who are pregnant right now,
be patient,
soon, you will get big enough that people will offer you their seats.
=)
don't despair,
there are still considerate people around.
they will be putting on a smile on your face.
=)
