when it rained cats and dogs,
the partner and i went to tapao burger king and went to macdonald's drive-thru hoping to get an ice cream cone.
but to our dismay,
the machine was spoil.
so throughout our journey to marina barrage,
we had french fries,
with me feeding him since he doesn't like his hands oily on the steering wheel.

next time, it will be my turn.
and so when we have secured ourselves a parking lot,
we had lunch in the car,
sharing of burgers.
=)
the reason why we went marina barrage was because to attend the real love works event.
it was pretty nice seeing the place decorated with hydrogen filled balloons all over.
there were activities we could do,
like queuing up for free candy floss, popcorn, balloon sculpturing and many others.

however the partner's balloon flew off because the string wasn't attached securely to the balloon.
and so he wrote another one.
and i can't help it but to laugh!

in the programme,
there was a mass renewal of vows,
but since we're not married yet,
we shared what we felt.

and it was time to release the balloons!

there was a love declaration that we can fill up.
after filling up mine,
i wanted to read his,
but he was being so secretive.
he said "wait lah, until we put it up."
me: oh well, ok honey.
and i was surprised what was written on his.
we looked at each other and grinned.
so is this a proposal?
haha!
i think there might be another one nearer to the date.
haha.
we waited for the lucky draw and we managed to see a rainbow against the reddish sky.
and we also managed to see a nice orangey sky.
my day didn't end there.
knowing that i wanted to drink sugarcane juice,
he stopped somewhere along our way to get it for me, while i waited inside the car.
we had dinner, macdonald's ice cream cone!
and we ended our day with chinese rojak!

i really really enjoyed my saturday with the partner.
sunday afternoon,
there was a maulut nabi at mama in's house.
and we attended it and learnt more about history.
the partner and i then head to jurong point, had our macdonalds ice cream cone(!), walk around and head back to my house to chill.
i love the weekends especially when it's spend together with the partner.
=)
and now,
i'm watching tv while updating my blog.
i will be sleeping soon.
but i don't think i should sleep so much because for the past 2 days,
i slept more than 10 hours and i woke up tired.
