diy candy buffet

the last diy that i did for Mishel's baby shower was the candy buffet.
i love candy buffet.
somehow it made the event looked fun.

thankfully, kasaisayang set up the table with cloths and netting.
they even lent us their containers and glasses.

it was up to us to get the candies and decorate it.
prior to the event, i looked through numerous photos of candy buffets.
the thing that i learnt about candy buffet is that it can never go wrong.
you add a little bit of this and that,
and it will still look fantastic.
perhaps you might want to go with the theme or colours.
be creative.
one thing you want to keep in mind is the budget because you might go over it.

most of the (non-candies) stuff i got it from spotlight, daiso and papermarket.
they are great places to get things for parties.

i did the handwritten labels so that it won't look blank.

and add in the ribbons to the labels.

setting up the candy buffet with lanterns.

adding flowers in a vase to the candy buffet.

the final set up.

i ordered biscuits that was shaped in rompers,

hearts

and crowns.

cupcakes of her names and different designs.

(on the right of the photo) got the serviettes and plastic bag from spotlight.
i bought another smaller plastic bags from daiso. (didn't managed to take a photo of it)

i also ordered personalised kit kats and mini mentos,
it has a similar theme to the card.

the front of the kit kat

the back of the kit kat,
which i requested for.

the mini mentos which is of a similar theme to the kit kats.

brownies and fruit tarts were made by my husband's aunt.

at the end of the event.

almost everything was gone.
it was one great experience setting up the candy buffet.
=)
