the photo above is a wishing well which can be found in Tokyo disneysea.
both of us flipped a coin and made a wish.
we didn't share about it.
until one day,
something happened...
one year ago,
on the 22rd March 2011,
i asked my husband to get the pregnancy kit because i felt lethargic and i was late.
i read the result against the box.
and read it against the manual as well.
(perhaps i should frame it up)
it was positive!
i was pregnant!
both my husband and i were overjoyed!
that was the first time we knew of my daughter, Mishel Aairah's existence.
the next day,
we went to see the gynae to double confirm.
even though,
it was still early to see our little one,
it was confirmed that i was pregnant of about 4 weeks.
we then broke the news to our family members.
all of us were contained with happiness.
it has been a year now and my daughter is 3 months old.
she is doing good.
she is able to sit down and play with toys.
she will baby talk and talk and talk until someone carries her.
her crying has lessen. (this is a GREAT news!)
her eyes will follow where you go.
when she grabs my hands,
she will push herself up to a sitting position and eventually to a standing position.
she enjoys looking at people eating and she will move her mouth.
she smiles more often now.
her weight is almost double the weight she is born.
next week,
we will try to give her those juices for 4 months old babies.
she is growing up fast.
it seems like it is only yesterday when she is unable to do a lot of things.
she makes me want to do and achieve more.
when we knew i was pregnant,
my husband said "honey, you remember the wishing well at disneysea? perhaps we were wishing for the same thing."
yes, i wished that Allah swt will bless us with a child soon.
and Alhamdulillah,
with Allah's permission,
i got pregannt.
forever grateful to Him.
Mishel sweetheart,
we are in love with you ever since we know of your existence.
your existence makes a difference to our lives,
in a very good, positive and encouraging ways.
even though my first trimester was hard,
it is you and papa who cheered me on.
you make me believe that i can do it.
you make me a woman.
now with you and papa,
you baby, complete me.
thank you sweetheart.
