Mishel's 9 months development assessment

Mothering lesson #963

It was entertaining seeing my daughter nodding and shaking her head whenever the nurse asked her some questions.

"Are you a pretty girl?"
Mishel nods head.
"Are you a good girl?"
Mishel shakes her head.

After some checks on her hearing and her motor skills, the nurse asked her again,
"Are you a pretty girl?"
This time, Mishel shakes her head.
"Are you a good girl?"
Mishel nods her head.

Throughout the assessment, she was distracted by the toys that at times, she ignored what the nurse asked her to do.

Just like the above right photo,
the nurse was trying to get her attention but she was looking at her dad while I snapped the photo.

During the check,
I was both nervous and proud of Mishel.
I was nervous because I was afraid that Mishel is unable to do things that the nurse had wanted her to do.
But Alhamdulillah,
Mishel did good.
:)
It was a proud moment for me to see my little girl doing some of the things.

We went to watch Paranorman after her check-up.
Thank god she didn't cry.
She managed to fall asleep halfway through the movie.

Now, my little girl knows how to do a mini dance with her hands!
It is always funny whenever I see her doing it.
It was her grandpa who taught her.
Sometimes while drinking milk, playing by herself or listening to music, she will move both of her hands to do the mini dance.
:)

Mishel baby,
thanks for showing Mama how fun being a mother can be.
:D
Love you sweetheart!
