the wait

dear sweetheart,
the wait is making me bored and nervous.
at least if you are out,
I can hold you, cuddle you, see you and admire you.
for now,
I have nothing much to do but to just wait.

actually,
perhaps I am also afraid to go through the labour pain.
the longer I wait,
the nervous I get.
for example,
in school,
if you have an examination,
you wished that you can finish the paper asap followed by a huge sigh of relief!
that is how I am feeling right now.

just like preparing for an exam,
most of us would burn the midnight oil.
for pregnant moms,
we also burn the midnight oil because most of us won't be able to sleep.
we are kept awake.

sweetheart,
mama knows that the womb is a very comfortable place to be in because it protects you from a lot of things.
however you can't be in there for too long.
the world is also a nice place to be but you will need religion, guidance, values, moral to help you because it is more challenging than the womb.
mama and papa will help you.

mama is getting sleepy now and will be taking her nap.
papa has been calling mama while he's at work just to ask whether mama is experiencing pains.
he really can't wait to have you in his life.
