they had asked those swensen's staffs to sing a birthday song for me.

on the 22nd december 2006,
it marked my 20th birthday.
i had so much fun going through my first day of being 20!


first up,
had lunch at eatzi steakhouse & bistro.
on the table 22.
haha.

mango cake.

chocolate with almond nuts ice cream.


it was our first time there,

and we are impressed with the delicious food and service.

after which, we head down to city hall area to find my present!

heh!

he decided to let me choose my present.

after much walking, we treated ourselves to godiva's dark chocolate chocolixir.

man, it's just so yummy and you sure will love it at the first sip!

after much considerations,

i've decided to get a bag.

i would like a handbag,

but it's a no no.

because i can never carry small bag.

it's a habit.

my bag is filled with things.

soooo...

i've got a huge bag for my present from espirit.

he sponsered it.

hee.

my day doesn't end there.

he drove to vivocity.

but instead of heading to vivo's parking....

him: honey, do you know where are you cutting the cake?

me: i don't know. at vivo lah.

him: no no. i want you to cut in the sky, up there *points to the cable car*

he drove towards the mount faber.

i was very surprised and overjoyed.

why?

cause i never took a cable car before.

thus, 22nd december was my first time.

the 2nd cake i received for my birthday.

i really had a good pre birthday.
and i can't stop myself from smiling.
it was really fantastic!
my best birthday ever!
a good start upon reaching the big 2.

to have friends who remembered my special day wishes me with sincerity, families who constantly supporting me and my boyfriend who truly loves me,
made me a very happy lady.
*huge grin*
i can never be happier.

my boyfriend is the one who made a huge impact.
his actions really moved me to tears.

earlier yesterday,
he texted saying we'll be meeting at 10 plus pm.
it was already 11 plus and he called saying he can't meet me up.
he's sick and tired from work.
mind you, i was ready since 11pm.
upon hearing that, took out my contacts and get changed.
well, i constantly consoled myself by saying i'm tired, i need a rest, blah, blah, blah.
so yeah, watched tv.
suddenly,
suliza called and she sounded troubled.
man, what can be worse?
first, my boyfriend can't meet up.
second, my bestfriend has a problem.
until suliza sang me a birthday song with shikin!
i was really touched by both of you girlies.

just a few seconds after hanging up,
my boyfriend called.
he sang me a birthday song exactly on midnight.
i can't stop blushing.

him: honey, come down.
me: huh? what? no. i thought you're at home?
him: see outside your kitchen window.
*ran towards the kitchen*
and, and, and i saw him standing downstairs.
smiling back to me.
with 20 candles of a heart-shaped.
there weren't any flames as the wind was strong.
i'm just really happy to see him!
get changed again and went down to meet him.
while going down the stairs,
i sense his scent.
true enough, he was hiding away.
and he handed me a bouquet of ferrero rocher.

headed to marina city park.
and i was shocked seeing him carrying lots of stuffs.
a backpack, and others things to carry.
i knew i was in for a good time,
and i was right.

he lay out the canvas and set up the place with candles.
and there's even a cushion for me to sit on.
the skyline is always wonderful from the park.
and there were stars!
lots of them.

first up was the cake.
again, he sang me a birthday song.
and i made a beautiful wish.
he handed me a hand made birthday card.
and that moved me to tears.
the contents made it the most beautiful card ever.

next is waffles with maple syrup.

followed by ben & jerry's ice cream!

i had a chocolately night!
it was enjoyable with my baby by my side.

i had to be there at suntec for the whole ten days.

friday was my first time i went to night safari!

it was with him and his parents.

i had so much, much fun!

saturday was really a roller coaster day for me.

morning: happy

afternoon: sucky!

evening: ok-ok.

night: surprised!

and that surprises ended my day beautifully!

one of those days that i couldn't forget.

his parents surprised me by asking me to choose a necklace.

on the spot.

a white gold necklace.

seriously, i was dumbfounded.

first thing that came into my mind: the price!

i felt so 'pai-seh'.

one of it managed to catch my eyes,

and the price is three hundred dollars.

they go ahead and bought it for me without hestitation.

i'll work myself in becoming the best daughter-in-law for both of you.
