secondary days.

presenting joanne theresa lopez,
my secondary school good friend.
the four of us (me, suliza, joanne and geraldine) always hang out together.

i like the above pic of her.
she looked hot and flawless.

will be having dinner with the one of the top 10 msu finalist.
i can't wait to be laughing with her and suliza tomorrow.
joanne, a fine young lady who is always mindful of other people feelings.

when i look back at my secondary school days,
it got me smiling.
the 11 girls who took up add maths would tease me about having a crush on our add-maths teacher, who is a lady.
it's not a crush, she's a role model that i looked up to.
you can see her in one of the pictures.

being in an all girls school,
it gave us the freedom to change our pe t-shirt in class.
we communicate using our calculators.
especially me and geraldine. (me and suliza sat in front of them. fyi, suliza and i sat in front of the teacher's table)
the different symbols for different alphabets.
the square root sign for the alphaber 'r'.
and so on.

we had our girls' school trend,
that is board shorts and tee shirt.
we always carried our bag very low,
which our butt would be smacking the bag.
macam cool konon.

i seldom dress up as my fashion sense was horrendous.

i was small when i was in sec 1&2.
tiny.
i was a late bloomer.
when puberty strikes,
i keep gaining weight till now.

i'm one of the shortest.
within my 5 years in secondary school,
i was always assigned to sit at the front row for picture taking.
until i was in my sec 5,
finally, i'm tall enough to stand up!
sadness kan?
haha.

i've already gave you hint. front row.
pick me! pick me!

have you guess?

*ta-da!

it was sec 3 when i have super short hair (which suliza said i looked like a boy)
ahh yes, i do wear those baggy jeans and baggy shirts.
too bad, i didn't have those pictures.

i didn't have long hair in primary and secondary school days.
why?
cause my grandma forbid me to have them.
saying it will affect my studies.
well,
i was obedient.

during prefects' commendation.
i was the shortest lah, stuck in the center.

what's up with the peace sign.
haha.

we had lots of opportunities to outshine,
i joined cheerleading, obs, performing, etc.

obs was great!

the whole class trained enthusiastically for the teachers' day concert.
there was one year, for teachers' day, whichever teacher came in to teach us, we sang for them a song.
this was taken before our hip hop dance.

i look like an ah chi.
i bought that sari exclusively for racial harmony day.

we were the champion for npcc cheerleading at junction 8.
we girls added martial arts in our performance.
and yes, the one on the right is my amaths teacher who i admired.

we were in sec 4 when the 5 of us joined our house's cheerleading.

a halloween party organised by my class for fund raising. (which i dragged my cousin and sister)

the next year, we went trick or treating at one of our classmate's condo.
we received plenty of sweets and candy!
what a halloween!

for npcc,
i was the parade commander.
yes, i shouted.
twice for national day.
man, it was great giving out commands as loud as you can.

ah hah!
save the best for last!
one classic picture of me and suliza!
we were only sec 2.

one wasn't interested in smiling while the other was overly excited!

ok great,

suliza is going to literally kill me tmr.

i was an ugly duckling.
but i evolve.
