starry starry nigh!

mom was lucky to have 2 birthday cakes this year.
one from afiq,
the other from dad.


there were 4 big candles because the both of them didn't know she was turning 39 this year.
well, males.




ok, my dad's birthday is not in december.
he was sitting beside mom saying that if there were another big candle, he could have celebrate together.

before we celebrated mom's birthday,
the 8 of us went to attend an astronomy lesson.

unfortunately,

the sky were cloudy and we didn't managed to see stars through the telescope.

we went to the dome-like structure and saw the telescope.

it reminded me of those hollywood movies like contact.

this is the opening of the dome that enables us to see the stars.

after the tour to the telescope,

we went to a room full of tiny tiny lights.

and when the lights were turned on,

there were a strange deflated grey thing on the floor.

when it was inflated with air,

it became into an igloo.

we had to crawl in it.

inside it,

we managed to witness virtual night sky in singapore.

it was dark, and was lit with tiny lights that resembles stars.

it was an as astounding sight.

we can't see much stars that we were supposed to see in singapore because of light pollution.

i didn't know we have that term.

light pollution.

by the time the 8 of us reached my house,

we were all hungry.
we sang a birthday song and ate!

this guy beside me make me realised how beautiful life is.

for that,

i can never thank him enough.
