to most,
february 14 is a very important day.
that is when florists and gift shops hike up their prices like mad! (perhaps there might be a 3 times increase.)
that is when you can see long queues at swensen's, pizza huts, delifrance and other restaurants.
that is when you noticed more couples walk around at town, shopping centres, and other places.
all because it was valentines' day.

before i set to school,
i assumed that there will be girls dressed up, all ready for date.
my assumptions was right when i was on the journey to school.
i saw a lot of girls not in shorts and a normal tee, but taking an effort to dress up for their dates.
most of them were at their very best.

for today,
i just had a 2-hour tutorial and i'm done with school.

soooo...
after school,
i head home and sleep!
i don't have any plans today as the partner has classes till 10pm.
it really doesn't matter that we have to go out on valentines' day because we don't celebrate it.

the partner called me and asked me to check where his class location at.
and i know he wasn't that pleased with the venue because it's a 8 mins walk.
in the middle of the class,
he smsed me that he's lost at what the lecturer was teaching.
and we decided to study together this sunday as the both of us are taking similar module this semester.
i can sense his frustrations.
and he sounded so kesian.

suddenly i have a plan popping out.
asked him to call me once he's done with class.
about 10 pm he called me,

him: hey honey, what's up?
me: nothing. so how was class?
him: not good.
me: ohh. nevermind we can study together honey. so how are you going home?
him: take bus.
me: oh really? why not you go to the carpark?
him: why?
me: because today you have a free ride home!
him: *laughs* really ah?
and that laughter was a genuine laughter.
he was really pleased.

so you guys know what happens next right?
he wasn't driving today so i sent him home after his class.

i was rewarded by his smiles and a peck on my cheek.
and i gave him one of his favourite chocolates.
it was really good to see him again!
especially with his short and neat haircut!
and after 4 days of not seeing him.

we had a simple supper to fill our hungry stomach.

a good meal because the both of us were starving and also we had our best companion to eat together.

and i have a date tomorrow!
