day 2, 3, 4

on the 2nd day,
we went to matsushima bay,
an island with shrines.

we took a cruise for 45 mins to reach the destination,
some of them were feeding the seagulls with prawn crackers.
of course i didn't participate with them,
for fear of getting bitten.

haha.

the greenery was fanstastic!

we roamed the shopping area at sendai station.
it was a 2km road filled with shops.
it was tiring.
at the end of the day,
both shikin and i got ourselves cream puffs for supper!

day 2 in japan
shiogama

for the 3rd day,
we had to travel to another town to a samurai place.
we were given a chance to put on the armor.
there were many layers of "clothings"
it was heavy i tell you,
it is made up of metals so as a sword can't go through it during battle.
nevertheless,
it was fun!

for lunch we went to a huge black cottage.
there were so many dishes that i didn't finish it.
afterwhich we went to a place where samurai's lived.
the garden was so beautiful!

we visited kankanu museum.
i was so impressed with the museum,
an interactive museum that shows creativity.
=)
too bad photography is not allowed in the museum.

day 4,
we head to miyagi university and interact with the students.
friendly people.
we got to attend 2 of their lectures.
the school is so beautiful, nice interior and exterior design with a lake to see.
it doesn't even look like a school.

day 4,
13 june was the day when we are being homestayed.
all of us were nervous while waiting for our host.
3 days, 2 nights.
my host family was really nice,
she prepared me traditional japanese food.
and makes me feel comfortable.
