the partner was dumbfounded when he saw me.
he stared at me then after a few seconds, he smiled.
he: honey, what are you doing here? how do you know i'm here?
me: i saw you walking past. and i decided to check it out honey.
when i saw him,
my heart beat was beating very fast,
my hands were cold.
i felt blood rushing to my veins.
he was with someone else!
i have to admit,
the chances of seeing him was very low.
i was in the car,
reading my notes,
which once in a while i looked at the pathway to see people walking by.
i tried calling him,
but he switched his phone off few hours earlier.
i happened to look up and saw a familiar face.
i took a few more look just to be sure,
and it was the partner.
as fast as i can,
i went out of the car.
so frankly,
it depends on luck whether we meet or not.
it was a coincident.
if i didn't look up,
if he didn't walk that way,
definitely we won't meet.
and he might be on his way back while calling me.

i was out at night,
to fetched the partner from his exams.
it was at expo and i knew he wasn't driving.
so i took the initiative to surprise him.
which he was.
his face was priceless when he saw me.
i sensed his happiness.
he was glad i was there.
he walked that way just to accompany one of his classmates who is a guy to get cookies.
and thanks goodness we met!
his phone was off hours earlier because he want to have a peaceful time to revise,
it wasn't me who distracted him.
he grinned before entering the car,
and i was greeted with
hello hooonnnnneeeeyyyyy!
haha!
we stop by changi village to have supper.
=)
while in the car,
we had so much to talk about,
especially him.
we babble about this, that, etc.
he accompanied me while i studied.
and the both of us called it a day when we were yawning excessively.
haha.
i'll be seeing him in a while to attending a wedding.
afterwhich i have a retreat to attend at sentosa,
while he has soccer.
i am simply happy to see him and his surprised face!
his mom knew i fetched him because after calling his son several times with no respond,
she called me.
and i told him i was out to fetch him.
