i was busy with the partner,
hanging out with him for the whole 2 days.
we had simple activities to do,
but what makes it special is the talks and the fun we had, the laughter and the connection we shared.
all those makes my time with the partner enjoyable.
on saturday,
i fetched the partner and we went bugis since he wanted to collect a transformers toy.
and of course we didn't forget to get yummy chewy junior puffs!
the partner had wanted to share something with me so we head to island creamery and talk over ice cream.
it was our first visit there and they do not have much on their menu.
it would be nice to see waffles.
so we tried the mudpie and the banana split.
what's nice about the mudpie is the crusting.
it is made up of oreo biscuits.
for the banana split,
sadly,
we can't choose the flavors.
my dad wanted to use the car for groceries shopping so we went over to my house.
while waiting for his parents to fetched us,
i had to pack my stuff because that night i will be sleeping over his house because our first activity starts at 7am in the morning.
so that night i laid down with the partner's mom on my right.
it took us an hour plus to fall asleep as we were talking and sharing our views on random things.
we had to wake up early because of a big walk event in bukit panjang.
the partner's parents were supposed to go for it but they gave us to go instead.
so all geared up,
both the partner and i completed the walk.
throughout the walk we had mini goals to keep us motivated.
it was funny how we find out our 'targets'.
and we would gave each other 5 whenever we pass by our 'targets'.
after the brisk walking,
we had to attend the forum on housing.
why was it a challenge for couples to get their first house.
we definitely learnt useful things from it.
so after marriage,
most probably we wouldn't buy a house first.
we have to see the market and the cycles.
let's hope there wouldn't be much problems living with my in-laws.

after the forum,
we went to a wedding.
it's his leisure soccer mate's.
everytime when the partner had a game,
he would bring me along.
and that's how i get to know the groom's wife.
in the evening,
the partner had soccer,
so meanwhile we had time to kill,
we went to ecp to have cheesecakes!
by the time we reached the soccer pitch,
i kept yawning.
so i slept in the car while the partner had soccer.
all hot and sweaty,
i woke up and cooled myself before heading to the pitch to see the partner.
we fetched his parents and had dinner together.
that is how i end my sunday.
happily and tired.
today is first day of school,
but i don't have any class today.
soooo.....
my first day of school is tomorrow!
8 am.
i don't think there's any way for me to avoid the peak hours.
also today,
the o level results will be out.
and syafiqah was complaining how badly her day had started.
maybe because she's nervous and scared.
let's just wait and see what she gets.
