the nature weekend

yesterday, i was given an opportunity to take a boat ride to witness the sunset.

as the wind blows on my face,
with my hair fly freely,
i felt refreshed.
and as i look at the sky, the sea, the huge boats/tankers/ships and the partner,
a surge of inspirations hit me.
there's no limit at what i want to achieve.
there's no reasons why i can't overcome any obstacles.
the world is huge,
go on and explore.
lastly,
give thanks to the Almighty who created everything for us to experience.

earlier that sunday,
i had an event in the botanic gardens to run.
it was to integrate the new citizens to our constituency.

our picnic ground.
we had games for them to have fun and know one another.

i'm glad it was a successful event.
=)

while i was walking in the botanic gardens,
i felt connected to it.
because about 4-5 years ago when i was in poly,
i used to come here often for classes and trips.
the place is comforting and gives me a sense of calm.
now the botanic garden is revamp into a much nicer place.

the bench is made up from a trunk of a tree.





i might go here again to explore the place.
and might also have a chocolate fondue with partner like what we did years back.

i have to say that my weekend is like the picture below.

happy.

at times when i feel selfish,
i stop and look at what i've got,
and that eradicate the selfishness that i felt.

i am grateful that my mom, the partner's mom and mama in went all the way to expo by public to check out the wedding services.
when they got over my house,
they were excited asking me to check out several websites and explain the packages that they took.
in the end,
my mom and the partner's mom chose the same company.
i am grateful that they can get along together.

for our dinner reception,
the partner and i are still sourcing out for more information.
haha.

one word to describe the weekend,
thankful.
