Love lesson #555

I've been busy with things that I've forgotten that May is a special month for my husband and I.

On 5th May 2012,
we had a 'tummy bursting' time watching Russell Peters live in Singapore, followed by a sweet supper.
coincidentally,
the 5th May marked the first time both of us met, 7 years ago.

5th May 2005,

It was so called a blind date because we knew each other online.

Let me take you back 7 years ago.
He suggested to meet up,
I was hesitant and nervous because even though we connected well online, I was afraid that there might not be a "spark" and I do not know what he might think of me.
Eventually, I mustered my courage to go on a date with him.

On that fateful day,
I sat in the library with my heart beating so fast waiting for him.
Suddenly he appeared in front of me with a smile.
We went on to watch kingdom of heaven.

On that date,
I was embarrassed.
It was because we wore similar navy jacket, as if we're a couple.
People were looking and giving us weird stares.
I know that the both of us were nervous, I sensed it.
Well, afterall it was our first date.

We ended the date by choosing a brooch for his mother for a mothers' day gift.
Even though it was a short date, I enjoyed myself.

We became a couple 8 months later.

By reminiscing it,
I smiled to myself,
I am amazed that I can still remember the details.
Memories are the sweetest.

I am the same person that you met 7 years ago, just that now I am in love with you.
