so i make time to look good today.
because it was my auntie joey's tea ceremony.

it's my grandma's (chinese) sister daughter.
the newlywed offering tea to her parents.
my grandma cried even before she was offered tea.

it was the first time i attended the tea ceremony and it's an eye opener.
next friday,
the wedding dinner to attend with the family.
today is grandparents' day!

i thought after dinner last night with the partner and his parents,
we're gonna go our separate ways.

the partner's parents decided to give nenek a visit.

they came over my house.

he offered me to drive the car, their car.

nenek, mom and his mom were chatting away.
dad and his dad were watching soccer.
me and the partner spend quality time together!
