our first attempt of baking waffles!

we had a simple saturday and as night comes,
we had a mission.

we wanted to make belgian waffles!
we searched for several recipes and compared.
after deciding on one,
we went shopping for the ingredients.
my husband who never bake before kept on asking me about the ingredients,
what is it?
what is the difference between x and y?
haha.
a neverending list of questions.

it was our first time baking together and it was fun.
we had a lot of laughter!

finally,
i have the reason to put on the apron.
haha!

it was late at night.

it was my husband first ever time to bake!

he was really happy being able to sift the flour, beat the eggs, etc.
and he asked a lot more questions.
like, why should we do this? what's the reasons, etc.
haha!

i had my parents-in-law to try.

and my mom-on-law encourages us to bake more often.
