a lesson to be learn

i spent tonight watching beauty and the beast.
i love that movie and belle is my favourite princess amongst the other disney princesses.
it's a children movie and even though it is cartoon,
it teaches us about love.

love for a father and love for a man.

belle loves her father that she is willing to stay in the castle to save her father.
really brave and sweet of her to do that.
we, as daughters or sons,
what have we done to show our love to our fathers?
just saying the word 'i love you' is one way to let him know you appreciate him.
maybe spend some time with him.

given time in the movie,
belle and beast fall in love with one another.
could belle loves beast if he was still arrogant, rude and scary?
doubt so.
beast learnt to change, control his temper and be romantic.
his efforts paid off,
belle doesn't mind his outlook,
instead she fell in love with beast's character.

some say,
you can't change a person if you love him or her.
i say,
love can change a person.
=)
what i learnt was love makes one a better person.

and of course,
love needs effort to work.
=)
