Mothering lesson #195

It is amazing to know how much Mishel has grown.
One day I came back from work and found out that Mishel's pacifier broke.

She uses the below pacifier since birth.

The pacifier was from the Philips Avent Newborn Starter Set.

Gave her another pacifier which was given as a gift,

however she disliked it.

She would pull it away and wouldn't open her mouth. 

So it is time to get a new pacifier for her.

My mom-in-law showed her two types.
The designed and the simple ones.

She stared at both,

however there is one which she stared intensely at.

Guess which one she chose?

The winner!

I guess she chose the above because it is similar to her previous one.

 :)

Before the old pacifier broke, whenever she plays alone, she would grab her pacifier from inside her mouth, look at it, toss it and reach for it.

Perhaps from there she learned how her pacifier looked like.

Mama is scared.
