Mothering lesson #272

On the 3rd July 2012,
both my husband and I played with Mishel when suddenly,
Mishel said "ba-ba" "a-bah".
It truly caught us by surprise.
Definitely my husband was pleased because Mishel called him first.
However, even though she can say it, she doesn't know who to associate the words with.
She was randomly saying it to experiment with making sounds.

Today, the 4th July 2012,
I carried her once I got home from work.
Guess what she said?
She said "ma-ma".
I was overjoyed!
When I tried repeating the word "ma-ma",
she said "ba-ba".
Haha.
I think she doesn't know how to use the words yet, or perhaps she knows.

Hearing your child "calls" you for the first time is priceless.

both mama and papa/baba have always wanted to hear that from you.
