my husband and i were invited for the chinese new year garden party at the istana.
it was his first time while i've been there for about 3 times.
last year,
i rememeber attending it with my sister and cousin.

basically,
we go there,
makan-makan,
see-see and look out for the ministers and ideally take photos with them.
however, if you want to take photos with them,
just be prepared to queue.
apart from that,
we walked around the lawn several times to meet up with other grassroots leaders that i know.
